• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or applicable regulatory authority (including RECO).

11. Mobile App

The information in this section applies specifically to the caprate.ca mobile app (iOS and Android).

• Account-free by design: The app does not require you to create an account to browse listings. Personal information is only collected when you submit a buy/sell inquiry or request a property viewing.
• Push notifications: If you grant permission, the app registers a device push token (via Expo’s push notification service) solely to notify you about the status of your own booking or inquiry (for example, a confirmed viewing time). You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
• Data storage: Inquiries and bookings submitted through the app are stored securely in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), hosted in Canada (Toronto region), and are only accessible to authorized brokerage staff.
• No third-party advertising or analytics SDKs are used in the app to track your behavior.
